🌸 5 Simple Ways to Reset Your Energy This Spring

Spring has a way of inviting us to begin again.
But while nature is blooming and the days are getting lighter, it’s not unusual to still feel a little... stuck. A little sluggish. A little “not quite myself.”
And that’s okay.
After a long winter (and let’s face it, a busy life), your body, mind, and spirit might need a gentle nudge to wake up and feel renewed again.
The good news? You don’t have to overhaul everything. You just need a little energy reset — something simple, nourishing, and kind.
Here are five of my favourite holistic rituals to help you reconnect with yourself and feel refreshed this spring.
✨ 1. Dry Body Brushing
This quick morning ritual is like a wake-up call for your skin and your circulation.
Dry body brushing supports your lymphatic system, helping your body naturally detox, while also giving your skin a beautiful glow. It’s energising, refreshing, and takes just a couple of minutes.
Try this at home:
Use a natural bristle brush before your shower or bath.
Brush from your feet upwards, always towards your heart.
Breathe deeply as you go and use it as a moment of intention — brushing away anything that feels heavy or stagnant.
💛 Bonus tip: Follow with a nourishing body oil and a glass of water to support the process.
✨ 2. Herbal Foot Soak
Our feet do so much for us, yet we rarely give them the love they deserve. A warm foot soak isn’t just soothing — it’s a powerful way to ground your energy, reduce stress, and even support your sleep.
Try this at home:
Fill a bowl with warm water and add Epsom salts.
Sprinkle in dried herbs like chamomile, lavender, or peppermint.
Add a few drops of essential oil and soak for 10–15 minutes with a cup of tea or a book nearby.
💛 Tip: Use this time to slow your breathing, close your eyes, and just be.
✨ 3. Clear a Corner
Spring cleaning doesn’t have to mean deep-cleaning your whole house. Sometimes, clearing just one surface or space can create a big energetic shift.
Decluttering helps us feel lighter, clearer, and more at peace — and can even reduce stress and mental fog.
Try this at home:
Choose a small space like your bedside table, kitchen counter, or even your bag.
Let go of what you no longer need.
Add a calming touch: a candle, a crystal, or something that makes you smile.
💛 Why it works: Your environment is part of your energy field — when it feels calm, you feel calm.
✨ 4. Gentle Movement
Movement doesn’t have to be intense or exhausting. In fact, gentle movement is one of the most effective ways to shift stuck energy, release tension, and lift your mood — especially in spring when your body is naturally craving a reset.
Try this at home:
Step outside for a slow, mindful walk.
Do a few minutes of light stretching with deep breaths.
Put on your favourite song and dance in your kitchen — even just for a verse or two!
💛 Wellness benefit: Gentle movement improves circulation, supports the lymphatic system, and helps regulate your stress hormones.
✨ 5. Sip Something Soothing
What we drink can be as powerful as what we do. Sipping herbal tea is a simple, beautiful way to support your nervous system, digestion, and sense of well-being.
Warm drinks send a “safe” signal to the body — and many herbs have calming or restorative properties.
Try this at home:
Nettle tea for gentle detox and vitality
Lemon balm for emotional calm
Peppermint for digestion
Chamomile for peace and sleep
Or hot water with lemon and ginger for an all-round lift
💛 Tip: Make tea-time a ritual. Sit down, take a breath, and savour every sip.
🌿 Start Small, Start with Love
You don’t need to do all five of these things to feel better. Start with the one that feels easiest, or the one that makes your body exhale with relief.
And if you need deeper support — for tension, overwhelm, sluggish energy or emotional stress — I’m here for you.
